Pet Containment System

Is your dog acting up or barking too much?
Sometimes it's not easy to quickly and effectively get control of your dog while taking them for walks. There are times when you just might need immediate control just in case they see another dog and get excited or want to make a break for it. The products in our Pet Containment section can help you with this. Also we have products that solve dog barking problems. Kennel silencers, bark control, collars and deterrents might be just what the pet owner desires. Perhaps an indoor radio/fence receiver or wireless instant fence is more desirable. Wireless Pet Containment System
How Wireless Pet Containment Systems can help your pet
Dogs and cats are curious animals by their very nature. They love to roam around the yard or your property and sniff out the different smells and scents that are in your yard or garden. Many times dogs or cats will get lost for hours in an endless trail of curious sights, smells and sounds. While this is fun for your animal or pet, it can lead to possible dangers that they are not aware of.
Cats usually have more leeway in regard to how far they are allowed to wander from home, especially if it's an outdoor cat. But even cats can get into fights with other cats or run over by cars just like dogs can. Typically cats will stay out of the way of people passing by and just watch them from a distance. But you never know what your dog might do. A dog is more likely to attack or bite another person, especially if they get frightened. There has never been a dog owner who actually thought their dog would bite someone. All dogs have the potential to bite, it's their nature, and they’re wild animals that have become our domesticated pets. But they still have their wild instincts, no matter how much we think we've breed it out of them.
In order to keep your pet safe as well as other people safe from your dog or cat many pet owners build big fences around their properties. But what if you don't want a fence around your yard? What are your options? One of the most popular options is what many pet owners are buying nowadays is an invisible dog fence or a wireless pet containment system.
Dog Containment Systems work by basically having a transmitter that is batter operated and installed in a pre-defined area of the house or yard. Then your dog is fitted with a receiver collar that essentially "communicates" with the transmitter. If your dog wanders outside of this area a warning beep sounds in the dog collar letting them know and giving them a loud warning. If your dog still wanders where he or she should not a correction is given to him. Along with some daily training for a small amount of time, your dog will learn very quickly where they are allowed to go and where they are not allowed to go.
Many people have had great success with wireless pet containment systems and swear by them. I've heard people say they would never build a fence because a wireless containment system is a much cheaper way to go. The only thing you'll need to do is check the wires for wear and tear about every six months and you'll need to change the batteries as needed as well.
